Laomei Stone Ditches
Laomei stone ditches (老梅石槽) is a unique spot with an incredible coastal view in North Coast. The stone ditches of various shapes were form by wave-cut volcanic lava through the years. Every year in spring (Feb ~ May), green algae flourish on the surface of the stones which makes this magnificent scenery. Do make sure that you come in the right months and low-tide hours to witness this amazing view. Besides, if you prefer a relaxed afternoon, there is a café (莎蜜拉) right on the beach. Feel free to take your time to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beauty of sunset here.
